Which mobile devices are compatible with BlueAnatomy™ Wireless Body Scale?
Currently runs on iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5S; iPod touch 3rd, 4th, 5th generation; iPad, iPad 2, New Pad, iPad Air. Support iOS 4.0 or greater and 3.2 or greater for iPad. Selected Android devices also supported. Please download app from play store to confirm.
I put a new set of batteries into the scale, but it doesn't turn ON when I step on it for initial calibration
Steps to take:
- Please check battery is placed correctly with correct polarity.
- Some units require up to 45 sec to initiate first time calibration. Please insert battery and leave alone on flat surface for 45 sec in which unit will be able to turn ON and calibrate for first use afterwards. Must be barefoot to turn ON scale.
- After trying above and the unit still doesn’t turn ON please try another set of batteries to make sure batteries are not faulty and retry above steps.
Can I use the Wireless Body Scale as a regular scale without my mobile device?
Yes, to enter scale only mode simply step on the scale for 3 seconds, then immediately step off the scale and on again. This will allow you to take a regular weight ONLY measurement. Please note this information will not be saved onto your mobile device and only works when the scale is not connected to a mobile device via Bluetooth.
Who should not use the BlueAnatomy™ Wireless Body Scale?
This product should not be used by individuals with a pacemaker or other implanted medical devices as it passes a low level electrical signal through the body which may interfere with its operation. This product is also not suitable for women during pregnancy.
Can I record data with my computer?
No, you can view, track and graph your data but you cannot record data with the scale on the computer. Only on compatible mobile devices.
What can be displayed on the scale?
Your Weight, Fat %, BMI and Total Body Water %. Additionally Bone and Muscle % is also recorded but can only be displayed on accompanying the free app.
How do I calibrate my scale?
After inserting battery into unit, place unit onto flat hard surface where you intend to use the scale. Step on until you see “Cal”, then immediately step off and the scale will self calibrate (only need to calibrate during first use or every time battery is removed and reinserted).
How do I maintain and use my Wireless Body Scale?
To prevent injury and to extend the longevity of the product, we recommend that all users review the Proper Use and Maintenance section in the manual that was included with the scale.
Why doesn't my scale pair with additional devices?
The Wireless Body Scale can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time. Please make sure your device is not already auto paired with a previously used device that is nearby. If this is the case, please turn OFF bluetooth on the previously paired device to enable the new device to connect.
Does the scale auto pair to my mobile device?
Yes, the scale will auto pair with a device that has been previously connected if bluetooth is enabled on the mobile device.
Where is my data saved?
Your data is saved on the mobile device that you used to record it until you have an internet connection at which point your data is also saved on our cloud server. Once the data is saved on our server, you will be able to access it from any compatible device.
What data is the BlueAnatomy™ app able to record?
The BlueAnatomy™ App allows users to record their Weight, Fat %, Total Water %, Bone %, Muscle % and BMI.
How many user profiles can be created within the app?
There is no limit to the number of user profiles that can be created and tracked within app. Only one BlueAnatomy account needs to be registered when first launching the app.
